The ladies’ ministry at Jerusalem Assembly House of Redemption focuses on knowing and serving God and knowing and serving each other.
We strive to cultivate fellowship and unity among the ladies of the kehilah (congregation), to promote spiritual growth among the ladies, and to strengthen the families of the congregation.
We gather for monthly fellowship meetings, which include a short devotional, worship, prayer, refreshments, memory verses, and time for one-on-one fellowship. Often, we invite someone to share their testimony, to be a surprise guest and demonstrate a special talent, share an experience, or give practical teaching. The prayer time consists not only of corporate prayer during the meeting, but also individual written prayer requests and an emergency SMS prayer chain.
In order to develop deeper relationships, our Fellowship Three program is designed for informal groups of 3 ladies, meeting once during the month. A schedule of meals for families and individuals in need, as well as visiting those in hospital is accomplished through the Nedivut Lev (Benevolence) program.
In 2007, Jerusalem Assembly organized it's first Women's Conference. Women from all facets of life and from various parts of the country delved into the topic of purity, speaking to the hearts of the young and old, single, married and divorced. It was an uplifting and edifying experience, and we are hoping to be able to organize other conferences for our ladies in the future.
You may watch the video lessons from the Purity Conference in our Video Library.
Our desire is to develop discipleship among the ladies, both one-on-one and in small groups, to encourage each one to be growing spiritually, and also to reach out to those “on the fringe” to be a growing, healthy part of the body of Christ.
